This Privacy Policy describes how DevCommand (“the App,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and discloses information when you use our mobile application.
By downloading, installing, or using DevCommand, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
1.1 Automatically Collected Information (Firebase Analytics)
We use Google Firebase Analytics to understand how users interact with the App. This may automatically collect:
Device information (device model, operating system version, language, screen resolution)
App usage data (screens viewed, features used, session duration, in-app actions)
Approximate location (derived from IP address, at the country/city level)
Advertising identifier (Android Advertising ID / AAID)
App crashes and performance data
General usage statistics such as install source and app version
1.2 Crash and Diagnostic Data (Firebase Crashlytics)
We use Firebase Crashlytics to detect, diagnose, and fix crashes and technical issues. When the App crashes or encounters an error, Crashlytics may collect:
Crash logs and stack traces
Device state at the time of the crash (memory, battery, OS version, device model)
App version and build information
A randomly generated installation identifier (not tied to your name or account)
1.3 Advertising Data (Future — Google AdMob)
Once the App reaches a sufficient install base, we plan to integrate Google AdMob to display advertisements. When this feature is enabled, AdMob may collect and use:
Advertising identifier (AAID)
IP address and approximate location
Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks)
Device and app information for ad personalization and fraud prevention
We will update this Privacy Policy and, where required, request your consent (e.g., via Google's User Messaging Platform) before enabling personalized ads, in compliance with Google Play policies and applicable law, including GDPR and UK/EU consent requirements.
1.4 Information You Provide Directly
DevCommand does not require account creation, login, or manual entry of personal information (such as name, email, or phone number) to use its core features. If this changes in the future, this policy will be updated accordingly.
We use the collected information to:
Operate, maintain, and improve the App
Understand feature usage and user engagement
Identify, diagnose, and fix crashes and bugs
Ensure the security and stability of the App
Serve and measure advertisements (once AdMob is enabled)
Comply with legal obligations
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

We do not share your data with third parties for their own independent marketing purposes.
Analytics and crash data are retained by Firebase according to Google's default retention settings (currently up to 14 months for Firebase Analytics, configurable by us), after which it is automatically deleted or anonymized.
DevCommand is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that a child has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to delete it. If AdMob is enabled in the future, we will configure it to comply with applicable child-directed advertising requirements if the App is deemed child-directed or mixed-audience.
Depending on your location, you may have rights under laws such as the GDPR (EU/UK) or CCPA/CPRA (California), including the right to:
Access the data collected about you

You can also limit ad tracking at the device level: Android → Settings → Privacy → Ads → Delete advertising ID / Opt out of Ads Personalization.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 10.
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information collected through the App. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, including when we enable new features such as AdMob advertising. We will notify users of material changes by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, through an in-app notice. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
