Many people see Linux as, "that one scary system that only hacker and super-nerds use, with only a terminal!"

THAT IS NOT TRUE!

I use Pop!_OS (Ubuntu variant, Linux) every day. THIS is what it looks like:

I used almost NO TERMINAL to get here. In fact, I would recommend Pop!_OS (link) to ANYONE with a PC from ~2008-2009 or later. The standard Intel one will work just fine 99% of the time.

However, for those with a PC OLDER than 2008, I recommend Debian with Xfce. (link)

Do NOT use Arch, Gentoo, or Slackware for your first-time Linux. You will end up in command-line hell.
