Biography

Linlin Ma is an Associate Professor of Finance at Peking University HSBC Business School. Her research focuses on asset management, institutional investors, incentives, investor beliefs, behavioral finance, and ESG investing.  Her work has been published in leading academic journals, including the Journal of Finance, Journal of Financial Economics, Management Science, and Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, and has been featured in the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, and CNBC. She currently serves as an Associate Editor of the International Review of Financial Analysis. Before joining Peking University in 2018, Professor Ma was an Assistant Professor of Finance at Northeastern University’s D’Amore-McKim School of Business. She received her Ph.D. in Finance from Georgia State University.
