Dr. Hui-Hao Lin is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Neuroscience and Physiology at SUNY Upstate Medical University. Dr. Lin received his Ph.D. from National Tsinghua University in Taiwan. He then pursued his postdoctoral training with Dr. Jing Wang at UC San Diego. 

CJ Liang joined Dr. Lin’s Lab as a postdoctoral researcher in 2023. She earned her Ph.D. in Genetics and Neurodegenerative Disease from National Tsing Hua University in Taiwan. Following her doctoral studies, Dr. Liang gained experience working in both the NGS Core facility and the biotechnology industry. 

William graduated from Syracuse University in May 2023 with his Master's in Bio-medical Engineering. In his free time he likes to explore the outdoors with his two dogs, workout, and cook delicious cuisines (Protein heavy of course).

Bri graduated from Binghamton University in May 2025 with a Bachelor's in Integrative Neuroscience with a minor in DIDA (Digital & Data Studies). Her favorite things are coffee, plants, books, and her two cats. In her free time, she loves to be outdoors, try new coffee shops, read, paint, and take care of her plants. Fun fact: She has a money tree that is now over 5ft tall (she got it when it was ~ 1ft tall).

Chelsea is from Taipei, Taiwan. She graduated from National Tsing Hua University with a Masters in Biotechnology in 2023 and joined Dr. Lin’s lab in 2024. Chelsea loves exploring new places and cultures. Right now, she’s still trying to find her favorite boba spot in Syracuse!
