Talks: Room 144, Floor 1, Huxley Building, Imperial College London
Coffee & Drinks reception: Room 549 (Mathematics Common Room), Floor 5, Huxley Building, Imperial College London
All talks will take place in Room 144 (first floor) in the Huxley Building at Imperial.
To get into the Huxley Building by foot, you have two options:
Enter Imperial College's Main Entrance on Exhibition Road. Walk through to Dalby Court and across the court to the Sherfield Walkway (back left of the court as you look at it). Continuing to the end of the walkway, you will come to an entrance to Floor 3 of the Huxley Building. Here is a useful map.
The Huxley Building also has a street level entrance at 180 Queen's Gate, but requires card access. If you find yourself here, then try to: (a) tailgate someone else through the entrance; (b) attract the attention of the receptionist to let you in; or (c) contact Ben or Amit (we'll communicate our phone numbers to all participants prior to the meeting).
Underground: The London Underground is probably the most convenient way of getting to Imperial by public transport. Travel to South Kensington station, which is on the Piccadilly, Circle and District lines. Inside the station and to the right, as you come through the ticket barriers, is an underground walkway that finally emerges in Exhibition Road, adjacent to Imperial and the nearby Science Museum.
