1. Overview
LinkRush (“we”, “us”, or “our”) provides an interactive language-learning and visual-novel style game. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how we use and share it, and your choices regarding your information.
By using the service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
2. Information We Collect
We collect the following information when you register and use the app:
- Nickname (required): used to address you in-game.
- Birthday (month and day only, required): used for in-game birthday events and related features.
- Country (optional): selected from a dropdown. If not selected, the default virtual country Evermere is used.
For the operation of the AI chat feature, we also process:
- AI chat content (limited history): a limited number of your recent chat messages and a summary (“memory”) generated from them, used to maintain context and personalize responses.
In addition, depending on how you use the service, we may process:
- Game progression and gameplay data (for example, completed lessons, story choices, in-game items and icons, and other in-game status information).
- Purchase history related to in-app items or subscriptions (billing itself is handled by the App Store or Google Play; we may store transaction identifiers and related metadata to verify purchases).
- Basic technical and usage information such as device information, app version, IP address, timestamps, and log data necessary for operating, securing, and improving the service.
Please do not enter highly sensitive information (such as passwords, financial information, or detailed health records) into the AI chat or the app.
All of the above information may be associated with your account (Firebase Authentication) and stored on our servers and those of trusted service providers for the purposes described below.
3. Purpose of Use
We use the collected information for the following purposes:
- Providing core game features (displaying your nickname, running birthday events, country-based display).
- Operating, maintaining, and improving the service and its features.
- Operating and improving AI chat features, including maintaining conversation context and personalizing in-game responses.
- Providing customer support and responding to inquiries.
- Preventing abuse, ensuring security, and enforcing our Terms of Service.
- Internal analytics and aggregated statistics to understand usage and improve the service (data used in aggregate will not identify individual users).
- Compliance with legal obligations and requests from authorities where required.
We do not use your personal data for targeted advertising, and we do not sell your personal data to third parties.
4. Data Storage and Retention
Data is stored on our servers and infrastructure provided by third-party service providers such as Firebase.
We retain your personal data for as long as your account exists or as needed to provide the service and fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
For AI chat data, we store only a limited history of recent messages and associated memory needed to provide context; older content may be deleted, overwritten, or used only in aggregated or anonymized form.
If you request account deletion, we will delete your account and associated personal data within a reasonable time frame, unless retention is required by law (for example, for tax, accounting, or legal compliance).
Aggregated or anonymized data that does not identify you may be retained for a longer period.
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
5. Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell or rent your personal data to third parties.
We may share your information with the following categories of recipients, only to the extent necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy:
- Service providers and infrastructure partners (for example, Firebase and cloud hosting providers) who store and process data on our behalf.
- AI processing service providers, which may receive AI chat content in order to generate responses. These providers are contractually required to process data only for providing services to us and not for their own independent purposes.
- Analytics and crash-reporting providers that help us understand usage and improve stability.
- Payment and app-store providers (such as Apple App Store and Google Play) that handle in-app purchases and subscriptions.

- 인앱결제 및 구독 관련 정보: 각 스토어에서 처리되는 결제에 대응하는 거래 ID 및 검증을 위한 메타데이터 등(실제 결제 처리는 App Store 및 Google Play에서 이루어집니다).

AI 챗 데이터의 경우, 기능 제공에 필요한 최근 대화 일부 및 메모리 정보만을 보관하도록 설계되어 있으며, 더 이상 필요하지 않은 과거 내용은 삭제되거나 덮어쓰기되거나, 개인을 식별할 수 없는 통계적 형태로만 유지될 수 있습니다.

一般的に、ユーザーアカウントが存在する限り、個人データを保持します。関連法令により、より長い保持期間が求められる場合は、その期間に従います。
AIチャットデータについては、機能提供に必要な直近のメッセージおよびメモリー情報のみを保持するよう設計しており、不要になった過去の内容は削除、上書き、または個人を特定できない統計的な形でのみ保持する場合があります。
ユーザーがアカウント削除を申請した場合、法令により保存が義務付けられている情報を除き、合理的な期間内に当該アカウントおよび関連個人データを削除します。
個人を特定できない形に加工された集計・匿名データは、より長期間保持される場合があります。
当社は、個人データを保護するために合理的な技術的・組織的安全対策を講じていますが、インターネットを通じた送信および電子的な保存方法は、絶対的な安全性を保証するものではありません。

ユーザーは、本サービスを利用することにより、本プライバシーポリシーおよび適用法令に従い、これらの国・地域への情報の移転・保存・処理に同意したものとみなされます。

当社は、サービス運営や関連法令の変更を反映するため、本プライバシーポリシーを随時更新することがあります。変更時には、本ページ上部の最終更新日を変更します。
重要な変更がある場合は、アプリ内通知その他合理的な手段によりユーザーにお知らせします。変更後もサービスの利用を継続することにより、ユーザーは変更後のポリシーに同意したものとみなされます。
