- DATA STORAGE
All your data in Phase 1 is stored locally on your device only. We do not collect, transmit, or store any of your data on our servers.
- WHAT DATA IS STORED LOCALLY
- Links you save (URL, title, description, thumbnail)
- Your ratings and watch status for links
- Categories and organization preferences
- App settings and preferences
- NO ACCOUNT REQUIRED
Phase 1 does not require any user account, login, or personal information. Your data stays on your device.
- NO DATA COLLECTION
We do not collect:
- Personal information
- Usage analytics
- Crash reports
- Location data
- Contact information
- Device identifiers
- LOCAL-ONLY STORAGE
Your data is stored using Hive (local database) on your device. This data never leaves your device unless you manually export it.
- NO THIRD-PARTY SHARING
Since no data is collected, no data is shared with third parties.
- METADATA EXTRACTION
When you add a link, the app fetches publicly available metadata (title, description, thumbnail) from that URL. This is done directly from your device to the website - we do not act as an intermediary.
- FEEDBACK SYSTEM
When you submit feedback through the app, it opens your email client. The feedback is sent via your email provider, subject to their privacy policies.
- FUTURE PHASES
Phase 2+ will introduce optional cloud features (groups, sync, backup). When those features are released, this privacy policy will be updated, and you will be notified before any data is collected or synced.
- YOUR RIGHTS
You own all your data. You can:
- Delete all data by uninstalling the app
- Export your data (future feature)
- Use the app without any data collection
- CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
LinkKosh is intended for users 13 years and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
- CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We will notify you of any changes to this privacy policy through app updates.
