This Privacy Policy explains how Link Saver – Link Manager ("the App", "we", "us") handles your information when you use the App on your Android device.
The App is developed and maintained by Developer Rubel. You can contact us at: devloperrubel@gmail.com
By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
The App is private by default. Everything you save — links, titles, notes, categories, favorites — is stored only on your device in a local database (Room).
No account is required and we do not ask for your name, email, phone number, or any personal details.
Your saved data is never uploaded to any server or shared with anyone.
The App shows advertisements served by Google (AdMob). The advertising SDK may collect device identifiers and app-activity data as described in Section 4.
Clipboard contents are only read when you explicitly tap "Paste" or "Paste & Save." The App does not read your clipboard in the background.
When you use the App, you may provide:
Links (URLs) you choose to save
Titles and notes you add to those links
Category names you create and which links you assign to them
Favorite flags on your links
This data is stored in a local database on your device. It is not transmitted, uploaded, or synced anywhere. If you delete the App or clear its data, this information is permanently removed.
The App lets you export your links to a JSON backup file or import links from one. These files are written to / read from your device's storage using the Android file picker, and are under your full control. We never see or receive these files.
The App itself does not collect any analytics, crash reports, or usage telemetry. However, because the App shows ads served by Google AdMob (see Section 4), the Google Mobile Ads SDK may automatically collect certain device information when ads are displayed.
Permission Why it is used:
INTERNET
Required to load ads and to open links in your browser
ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE
Checks network availability before loading ads
com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID (added by the ad SDK)
Access to the advertising ID for ad serving and measurement
The App does not request access to your contacts, location, camera, microphone, photos, or call logs.
The App is free and supported by advertising. We use Google AdMob (play-services-ads) to serve banner, native, interstitial, and rewarded advertisements.
The Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect and process:
Advertising ID (a resettable identifier used for ad delivery and measurement)
App interactions / usage data (e.g., ad impressions, taps)
Device and network information (device model, OS version, IP address, network type)
Approximate location (only as permitted by the SDK's ad-targeting settings)
This data is processed by Google and its advertising partners under Google's privacy policy. Please review:
Google's Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
Google's AdMob policies: https://support.google.com/admob/answer/6128543
In countries where the EU User Consent Policy applies (European Economic Area, UK, and others), we will only show personalized ads after you have given consent, and non-personalized ads otherwise. We use Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to present the consent message.
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time from the consent message or your device's settings.
You can opt out of interest-based advertising entirely by resetting your Advertising ID in Android Settings → Privacy → Ads on your device.
If you prefer, you can disable the App's display ads (banner and native) via the App's ad settings. Ads are served only while the App is in use.
Your links and notes are stored in a local database on your device. Because this data never leaves your device, it is protected by your device's own security (screen lock, encryption).
Data transmitted to ad servers is sent over HTTPS (encrypted in transit).
Important: your locally stored data is not separately encrypted at rest by the App. Anyone with physical access to an unlocked device can view the data. We recommend enabling your device's full-disk encryption.
You control your data:
Delete a single link: open a link's details and tap Delete.
Delete everything: go to Settings → Data → Delete All Links.
Delete a category: links move to the "General" category; nothing is lost.
Export a backup: Settings → Data → Export Links writes a JSON file you can keep or delete.
Remove all data: uninstall the App or clear its data from Settings → Apps.
We do not store any of your data on our servers, so there is nothing for us to delete on our side.
The App is a general-audience utility and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data through the App, contact us and we will investigate and remove it where applicable.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest revision. Significant changes will be reflected in the App and on this page.
