FREE PD!!!

Do I have your attention? We're all educators, so you know that our favorite price is FREE!

Full disclosure - some of the PD I'm going to point you toward does have a cost, but I think it's well worth it AND most of the opportunities I'm going to share really are free.

As we're finally about to head into summer, I know that all of you are reflecting on this school year and what professional learning you might need to seek out in order to help you accomplish your goals for 2018-2019. And I'll be honest, the PD that I self-select almost always is way more effective for me than PD that I'm mandated to attend. In that spirit, I wanted to share with you some learning opportunities that interested me for Summer 2018!

#KYGoDigital

Are you ready to join the edtech revolution? Consider attending a #KYGoDigital Regional event this summer! There's event a VIRTUAL event that you can participate in without leaving your house (or the pool. if you're lucky)!

I presented at 2 Regional events in the Library Media track last year and will likely go to at least 2 this year. The "tracks" are set up by grade level and by discipline and YOU choose what you'd like to learn about for the day! There are even tracks for administrators and other specialists. Truly something for everyone!

Kentucky Teacher is currently featuring a great article about the #KYGoDigital movement and it's a good read to learn more!
