This Privacy Policy describes how LinkKeeper collects, uses, and protects information when you use the app.
Overview
LinkKeeper is an app that helps users save, organize, back up, and manage links. This Privacy Policy explains what data may be collected, how it is used, and what choices you have.

How We Use Information
We use information to:
- provide and maintain LinkKeeper features
- let you sign in with Google
- back up and restore your data with Google Drive
- show app updates and release availability
- send optional reminders and notifications
- diagnose crashes and fix bugs
- process feedback you submit
- improve app quality, security, and performance
Google Sign-In and Google Drive
If you sign in with Google, LinkKeeper may access limited account information necessary to authenticate you and enable backup and restore features.
If you use backup and restore, LinkKeeper stores your backup data in your Google Drive app data area or related Google services used for that feature. This is used only to support backup and restore functionality.
AccessibilityService and Smart Link Reminders
LinkKeeper includes an optional feature called Smart Link Reminders.
If you explicitly enable this feature, LinkKeeper uses Android's AccessibilityService API to detect when certain supported apps, such as Instagram, Amazon, Myntra, Flipkart, Meesho, Pinterest, Snapchat, and YouTube, are opened so it can show a notification reminding you to save a link.
We use this AccessibilityService only for this reminder functionality.
LinkKeeper does not use AccessibilityService to:
- perform clicks, taps, gestures, or text entry on your behalf
- change system settings
- bypass Android privacy protections
- read or store on-screen text content for this feature
- perform autonomous actions without your knowledge
This feature is optional. You choose whether to enable it, and you can disable it at any time in your device Accessibility settings.
Notifications
LinkKeeper may send notifications for:
- backup progress
- restore-related prompts
- app updates
- Smart Link Reminders, if you enable that feature
- test notifications triggered by you from Settings
You can manage notification permissions through Android settings.
 Advertising
LinkKeeper may display ads, including AdMob-based ad placements. Advertising partners may use device identifiers or similar information as allowed by their policies and Android platform rules.
The app may use the Android Advertising ID where required for advertising-related functionality and measurement.
Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal information.
We may share information only in limited cases such as:
- with service providers that help operate the app
- with Google services when you use Google Sign-In, backup, restore, or related cloud functionality
- with Firebase services for crash reporting, diagnostics, app distribution, remote configuration, storage, authentication, or related features used by the app
- when required by law
- to protect rights, safety, or security
- with your consent
Data Retention
We retain information only for as long as needed to provide the app, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and improve service reliability.
Different types of data may be retained for different periods depending on their purpose.
You may also remove certain app data by:
- deleting links and folders inside the app
- clearing app data
- removing backups where applicable
- contacting us with a deletion request where relevant

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children's Privacy
LinkKeeper is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us so we can review and remove it if appropriate.

Your use of those services may also be subject to their own privacy policies and terms.
