These Terms apply to the "LingoLog" service (hereinafter referred to as "the Service"). Registered users (hereinafter referred to as "Users") must use the Service in accordance with these Terms.

Article 1 (Application)
These Terms apply to all relationships related to the use of the Service by Users. In addition to these Terms, rules and various provisions (hereinafter referred to as "Individual Provisions") related to the use of the Service may be established. Regardless of their names, these Individual Provisions constitute a part of these Terms. If the provisions of these Terms conflict with the Individual Provisions, unless otherwise provided in the Individual Provisions, the provisions of the Individual Provisions shall prevail.

Article 2 (Registration)
For the Service, those who wish to register must agree to these Terms, apply for user registration in the manner prescribed by the developer, and upon the Service's approval, registration is completed. The Service may not approve the application for user registration if it determines that the applicant has any of the following reasons, and it is not obligated to disclose any reasons for it:

Article 3 (User ID and Password Management)
Users shall manage their Service user ID and password at their own responsibility. Users cannot, under any circumstances, transfer, lend, or share their user ID and password with a third party. The Service will regard any actions taken with a matching user ID and password as actions taken by the registered user of that ID. The Service assumes no responsibility for any damage resulting from the use of a User's ID and password by third parties.

Article 4 (Service Fees and Payment Method)
Users shall pay the fees for paid parts of the Service as determined by the developer and displayed on this website, using the payment method specified by the Service.

The provider may suspend or interrupt all or part of the Service without prior notice to the user under any of the following circumstances:

If a user falls under any of the following, the provider may restrict the use of all or part of the Service without prior notice or cancel the user's registration:

Article 8 (Withdrawal)
Users can withdraw from the Service through procedures prescribed by the provider.

Article 9 (Disclaimers and Exemption from Liability)
The provider does not guarantee, either explicitly or implicitly, that the Service is free from defects in fact or in law (including but not limited to defects in safety, reliability, accuracy, completeness, efficacy, suitability for a specific purpose, security, errors, bugs, or infringement of rights). The provider shall not be liable for any damages caused to the user due to the Service, except in cases of intentional or gross negligence by the provider. However, if the contract between the company and the user regarding the Service (including these Terms) is a consumer contract as defined by the Consumer Contract Law, this exemption clause does not apply. The provider shall not be responsible for any transactions, communications, or disputes arising between users or between a user and a third party in connection with the Service.

Article 10 (Change in Service Content)
The provider may change, add, or discontinue the content of the Service with prior notice to users, who shall accept such changes.

The Service may amend these Terms without obtaining the individual consent of the user in the following cases:

Personal information obtained through the use of the Service shall be properly handled in accordance with the "Privacy Policy" of the Service.

Article 13 (Notifications and Contacts)
Notifications or communications between the user and the provider shall be made in the manner prescribed by the Service. Unless the user informs the Service of a change in their contact information in a manner separately specified by the Service, the registered contact information is deemed valid, and communications or notifications to this contact are considered to have reached the user upon dispatch.

Article 14 (Prohibition of Transfer of Rights and Obligations)
Without prior written consent from the provider, the user may not transfer their position under the usage contract or rights or obligations based on these Terms to a third party, or provide them as collateral.

Article 15 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)
The interpretation of these Terms shall be governed by the laws of Japan. In the event of any dispute regarding the Service, the court having jurisdiction over the location of the provider's head office shall have exclusive jurisdiction by agreement.
