Linglestown Village Tree Lighting & Carol Sing
Sunday, December 7th, at 6pm
Join Linglestown Area Civic Association as we sing Christmas carols and light the Linglestown Village Christmas tree. Everyone is invited to attend this FREE annual holiday event.
Join us at 6:00pm as we sing classic Christmas carols together on the square. The carol sing will take place around the town clock at the intersection of Linglestown Road and N. Mountain Road. Please bring a flashlight if you plan to read from our song sheets, as it will be dark outside!
The Village Christmas tree will be lit by Santa and Mrs. Claus (with some help from their friends at Linglestown Fire Company)!
Following the singing and tree-lighting activities, the public is invited to the "St. Thomas Room" at the Linglestown Historic Venue (5901 Linglestown Road) for hot chocolate and cookies supplied by the Linglestown Fire Company Ladies Auxillary. Kids can meet Santa and Mrs. Claus here too!
Free public parking will be available on a first-come, first-served along Linglestown Road, Linglestown Church of God, and in the municipal lots near Koons Park and Linglestown Life Church.
LACA would like to thank Weir Event Rentals for donating the use of the St. Thomas Room for this event, Linglestown Fire Company Ladies Auxillary, Linglestown Fire Company No. 1, and Linglestown Fire Police.

The Linglestown Area Civic Association (LACA) is a 100% volunteer organization of dedicated, local Linglestown residents who are working to promote the Linglestown community by:
Preserving its history;
Sponsoring Linglestown events;
Maintaining Linglestown's beauty;
Providing relevant information to the community;
Encouraging cooperation between organizations, businesses and the community;
Providing a conduit to discuss and act on Linglestown issues.
Anyone can join the Linglestown Area Civic Association, regardless of where you live! The only requirements for membership are a love of our Linglestown community and a heart for service.
Non-members are also encouraged to attend our meetings and events. See the "Monthly Meetings" section below for more information.

Meetings are on the third Wednesday of each month at 7:00pm in the School House Room at Linglestown Historic Venue (formerly the Old Linglestown Fire House building).

Visitors are welcome to attend! You do not have to be a member to come to a LACA meeting.
