LingAR apps are enriched mobile learning applications, developed by a team of specialist in the field of Augmented Reality and a group of Language experts. Its aim is to support the students in studying, learning, and practicing English JUST by using a book and implementing a mobile phone camera.

The present App is designed in English as a foreign language and it is used for English course books.

The steps of the language practice in LingAR apps are as follows:

App users must open the book and touch an AR icon on their screen device. Depend on the type of book activity, they may receive different slices of language..

• By tapping to audio file and songs of the pages and touch them, listening files can be played for app users,

• By tapping to new words icons and touch on, their pictures can be displayed for app users,

• By tapping to Fluency Times pages and pointing to the photos on these pages, app users can watch videos on their device,

• Moreover, in some lessons, app users can watch extra videos which do not exists in the original series of the course book itself.

• In lesson and reading part of each unit, app users can tap on the icon on the screen and point to the pictures in the book and then, animated videos can be displayed for them. Enjoy Watching them!!

• In Phonics part of each lesson, app users can see pictures of the words while listening to their audio Files.

Note1 : App users do not need to be connected to the network, while they are using this App.

Note2 : App users do not need to prevent their device from sleeping.

Note3 : App users must be aware of Billing service.

Note4 : This app will use device camera for AR (Augmented Reality) section.

Note5 : Since this app is for kids, some of its functions require parents’ permission.

Note6 : we do not require children to submit their personal information.

Note7 : This app uses the device's microphone for the exam section for correct pronunciations.

As parents ourselves, LingAR apps takes children’s privacy and protection very seriously. We do not collect any personal data.

Sexually explicit

We don't allow Actions that facilitate or promote sexual gratification or sexually explicit content. This includes:

• Pornographic, sexually explicit, or erotic content.

• Content that describes sexual acts or sex toys.

• Escort services or other services that may be interpreted as providing sexual acts in exchange for compensation.

• Content that describes or encourages bestiality.

Child Safety

Google has a zero-tolerance policy against child sexual abuse content, or Actions promoting the sexual exploitation of minors. If we become aware of content or Actions facilitating or promoting the distribution of child sexual abuse content, we will report it to the appropriate authorities and delete the accounts of those involved with the distribution.

Violence and dangerous activities

We don't allow Actions that facilitate or promote gratuitous violence or dangerous activities. This includes:

• Graphic descriptions of realistic violence or violent threats to any person or animal.

• Terrorist groups documenting their attacks.

• Instructions for engaging in or facilitating violent activities, including bomb-making or weapon-making.

• Self-harm, including instructions to carry out self-harm.

We don’t allow Actions that facilitate the sale of explosives, weapons, firearms and related components.

Since, this is an app designed based on Augmented Reality, and the app users must implement device camera once they want to use the app, we add a note on app and it includes this message: be aware of your surroundings as this app may require hand movements
