Lindsey has studied Traditional Chinese Medicine extensively both locally and at the source in China. Including the following:

  • Tuina – Chinese Massage

  • De Da Dun Sang – Bone-setting

  • Acupressure

  • Moxibustion

  • Cupping

After a few years of private practice she completed one and a half year’s training with The Master in Acupuncture gaining valuable insight and worked in Clinics in Khayelitsha being exposed to many various medical complaints not always seen in local practice.

She then expanded her knowledge further by studying with the Mel Cash London School of Sports Massage, gaining experience in:

  • Sports Massage

  • Myofascial release systems

  • Muscle Energy Techniques

Further experience was gained working for over 7 years in the Physiotherapy department at the Sports Science Institute of South Africa, where she also opened the Massage Centre and became the Holistic person.

Lindsey always works in conjunction with physiotherapists, biokineticists’ & other medical practitioners. Her field of interest includes: pre/post back surgeries; pregnancy and cerebral palsy to name a few. Her practice combines the best of the east and west hands-on modalities and annual trips to the East keep her updated on all the latest techniques.
