Hi, I'm Lindsey!
I recently graduated from Georgia Tech with a bachelors degree in computer science. During my time at school, I focused my learning on the intersection of people and media. I became fascinated with human psychology and the use of data to improve existing technology.
I am currently living in Atlanta with my boyfriend, my giant dog, and my insane kitten. When I am not working, I can be found volunteering at the Atlanta Humane Society or hiking. I am an avid reader and, when I make the time, I enjoy writing.
Empathy is a critical component of user-experience design and, as such, I place great value in expressing it through technology. Many people design with empathy for the average user, however I am motivated to expand this to everyone who may interact with a technology. This includes stakeholders, designers, engineers, and other people who might be left out of the traditional user persona.
Before I discovered the field of UX, I was considering joining the industry of data science. I love working to compile useful insights from messy data and presenting the findings in a useful way. I have a natural curiosity to explore information and enjoy working with a team to answer important questions. Whether it's a competitive analysis or results from usability tests, I have fun solving problems using data.
