Linda Fuller
Linda is a visual artist with lifelong botanical immersion. A gardener herself, she has been involved in public and private community and hospital gardens.
Working in clinical and educational settings in NYC as an art therapist and learning specialist, Linda created studio programs for psychiatric patient artists, and poetry/art initiatives for South Bronx middle schoolers. As a Fulbright teacher grant recipient, she studied in Japan.
Linda received her BFA from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro as a Spencer-Love Fine Arts scholar, and her MPS in art therapy from Pratt Institute. Additional graduate study at Bank Street College of Education focused on play therapy and designing learning environments. Her post graduate psychotherapy training integrating scientific-theoretical and creative process was at the Institute for Expressive Analysis in NYC.
Linda’s artwork has been exhibited in museums and galleries throughout the US and in England. Her work is included in public and private collections in the US, UK, and Australia. She was a New York State Council of the Arts grant recipient.
Linda is a meditator and world peace advocate. Championing fellow artist Pearl Fryar and his garden mission of love, peace and goodwill is a perfect fit, one she regards as an honor and privilege.
