I’ve always had a desire to delve into ceramics which prompted me to sign up for classes at my local community college. I found that being with others who shared the same passion for clay helped to inspire me, so much so that I ended up exceeding the limits for each class. While I was there, it also sparked a desire to complete the AA that I had given up on in my youth. I proved to myself that you’re never too old to learn.

I have created many things but my favorite is when I carve Bible verses into clay, making it look like it’s on old parchment paper. I feel that God has given me this creative gift and I enjoy using it to make others happy.
