Linda Davis-Hurd

A gardener and human services practitioner, Linda received her BS in public health and biology from James Madison University in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley of her homeland of Virginia.

She completed post graduate studies in healthcare management at Old Dominion University.

Linda taught childbirth education for ten years at Virginia hospitals, and worked for fourteen years in social services casework for at risk populations.  In Virginia and North Carolina, she worked for twenty years in pharmaceutical sales.

She volunteers with a Youth Ministry for scriptural studies. 

A passionate beach walker with equal love of the mountains, Linda finds Pearl’s inland topiary garden endlessly inspiring.  She has particular interest in children’s garden initiatives and sustainability.
