Role: Slated President

Nicole Wehlage-Alonso ("don't worry about pronouncing the way-loggy part of my name; the difficult portion comes from my husband's side") 

"I'm a mom of three—my son is entering 3rd grade and my twin girls are entering first grade. Last fall, when I finally had everyone in school, I imagined that I would fill my days with some of my favorite things like zumba class, hunting for bargains at thrift stores, and experimenting with the best ratio of m&ms to popcorn when watching Britbox mystery shows in the middle of the day, but to my surprise, I was asked to volunteer weekly, spending one morning in a classroom and serving as a breakfast monitor a few mornings a week. It was the absolute best experience; I loved it, and can't wait to jump back in! Being a part of Lincoln Center is truly being a part of something special.

Sean Mansheim

"I’m a middle school special education teacher, case manager, and coach. I have two sons, the oldest is starting Kindergarten this year after a wonderful experience in PreK! I’ve seen from the teacher side the tremendous benefit a strong PTA provides and I'm excited to be able to provide that experience to the staff, students, and families at Lincoln Center and in the South St. Paul community."

Claire Zellmer

"I’m Claire Zellmer, (Slated) PTA treasurer. I’m Mom to 4 students at Lincoln Center in grades 3, 1, & two in PK. I joined the PTA with the goal of supporting our amazing students, teachers & staff . When I’m not running kids around, you can usually find me knitting, reading or gardening."

Sherri Spencer

"I'm Sherri Spencer and I'm excited to (potentially) take on the role of Secretary for the Lincoln Center PTA.  I'm mom to two girls in 5th and 1st grades.  I joined the PTA to make a difference at Lincoln Center.  I love being able to volunteer for the various events and fundraisers the PTA is involved in and know I've made a difference, and know that we are trying to make LC a great place for students and teachers. 

Professionally, I work as a Senior Fund Accounting Controller at a large commercial real estate company, where I've worked a total of 17 years.  I've also previously been a member of the church council where I attend church. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my kids, gardening, and singing in church choir."
