Research

The Lin Lab studies the neural circuit function in the brain, specifically how sensory inputs are translated into behavioral outputs and how the internal physiological states drive flexible behavior. We use Drosophila as a model organism and employ a multidisciplinary approach, including molecular biology, neurogenetics, behavior, and functional imaging techniques, to study the underlying molecular and neuronal mechanisms that control nutrient-specific feeding behavior and alcohol consumption.
