Hyun-Lim Yang, Ph.D.
Director of LIMS

Prof. Hyun-Lim Yang is an Assistant Professor of the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Chungnam National University College of Medicine, Korea, leading the Laboratory for Intelligent Medical Systems (LIMS). Before coming to Chungnam National University, he had been a clinical assistant professor of the Office of Hospital Information at Seoul National University Hospital, and a research assistant professor of the Biomedical Research Institute (jointly affiliated with the Department of Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine and the Department of Critical Care) at Seoul National University Hospital. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science (Artificial Intelligence) from DGIST in 2021. His research focuses on analyzing vital signs and EMR data from real-world medical practice and on developing medical AI systems. His passion for AI transformation of clinical decision support systems drives the lab's mission to revolutionize intelligent medical systems.
