Handy hints

  1. When you start looking for a Limousine remember this is for a special occasion so do not automatically go for the cheapest quote
  2. Ask where ever possible to view the vehicle before paying a deposit. Reputable companies will be more than happy to let you view their vehicles
  3. Consider more than one quote where possible, do not always take the first offered. But do not try to lower the price by saying you have been quoted a cheap price when you have not. Reputable companies do not have to lower prices to obtain a hire
  4. When you get your quote make a note of the company and the price. This wills enable you to call back the right company when booking. But don’t call too many as by the time you call back the car could be booked.
  5. Ask what is supplied with the hire, as companies are now required to have drink licences, so some companies will charge for alcohol/corkage. Tell them if it is a special occasion, the majority of companies will supply balloons and banners for free but check their policies. Do they supply ice; no one likes warm bubbly
  6. Check the car when it arrives, if there is any damage point this out so that you are not charged for this at the end of the hire
  7. Do not use abusive behaviour, language or consume excessive amounts of alcohol as the company may terminate the hire leaving you stranded. So don’t let any of your group ruin the trip for you. Remember clubs will refuse you entry if any of your party appear drunk
  8. If you have friends who have hired a limousine before then ask them to recommend a company. Recommendation is the best way to book your dream ride
  9. Do not sign agree to anything until you have read and are happy with the companies terms & conditions. These should be sent to you along with a receipt for any deposit paid and confirmation of the hire
  10. More companies are now charging if there is excessive rubbish left in the vehicle at the end of the hire. So it may be sensible to bring along your own plastic sack to remove the rubbish
  11. If you are booking a limousine that seats more than 8 passengers please ask the company if their car has the necessary certificates required for that vehicle i.e. a COIF a certificate of fitness. All cars should be licensed by their local authority or VOSA so please ask
  12. By following these rules you will find that your trip will be safe and enjoyable. Don’t forget companies want repeat bookings & some will offer discounts to regular customers
