About Me
Hello, I'm Melvin Lim!
I'm a second year student from St Andrew’s Junior College with a keen interest in PPE, Law & Defence. As a passionate individual that believes in maximising the potential of others, I've been privileged to have had opportunities to lead and represent my institution in several school-wide initiatives & events, in various key leadership capacities.
A driven and inquisitive individual, I actively explore and source for opportunities that can serve to enhance my public speaking, facilitation and communication skills, whilst simultaneously allowing me to network meaningfully with other individuals from all walks of life. These include attending leadership dialogues & conferences, participating in public speaking competitions & workshops, as well as emceeing for several significant school occasions.
A firm believer in having a holistic education. Ideally, I try to take time out every month to volunteer with charitable organisations & NGOs to serve the vulnerable in the local community. This has not only allowed me to be more empathetic towards the needs of others, but has also help me to constantly keep in touch with my society.
In my spare time, I like to take the opportunity to go for walks in the CBD, as well as going out to meet new people. Very often, I also enjoy bringing my close friends around Singapore to explore places to eat and hang out.
