Liminal Terror Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy outlines the methods by which we gather, utilize, store, and safeguard your data while using Liminal Terror.

1. Data We Collect

Microphone Access: We use your microphone to enable voice chat only during multiplayer sessions. We do not use or access your microphone data outside the app.

We gather and maintain records of your in-game name, Oculus username, and ban status to ensure that bans persist across devices.

Cosmetics Ownership: We ensure your cosmetics are preserved across sessions by storing data of cosmetics you own.

Device Info: We collect some device information for the app to function properly, such as your device ID which is used for saving data.

Your data is securely stored using PlayFab.

2. How We Use Your Data

To allow multiplayer features such as voice chat and enforcing bans to work.

To maintain your in-game cosmetics and identity across sessions and devices

(if you’re logged in on the same account).

Requesting Deletion of Your Data:

You may request that the data associated with your Liminal Terror account be deleted by contacting us at liminalterrorsupport@gmail.com.

To request deletion, please send an email to liminalterrorsupport@gmail.com and include your in-game name and/or your PlayFab ID, and state that you are requesting data deletion. Not any more information is required, as we value your personal security. Deleting a user’s data wipes out any info, saves, cosmetics, and more associated with the account.

After receiving a valid deletion request, we will process the request and delete the applicable personal data associated with your Liminal Terror account, except for information that we are required or permitted to retain for legitimate purposes, such as complying with legal obligations or maintaining necessary records.

Your in-game name and either cosmetics owned or PlayFab ID will be necessary to process your request.
