Local Air Force Veteran, Linnie Veilleux’s business grows to a new location.  Linnie graduated from Mission Ridge Academy of Pet Styling in Marysville, WA in 2007 as a professional certified dog groomer and has charmed so many dogs and their owners that they are moving their business to a larger facility.  Larger tubs and a safe entrance with off-street parking to ensure the safety of the dogs and owners. 

This is the ultimate experience for the dog and owner to be treated one-on-one with a gentle, kind approach to grooming.  No muzzles, no crate drying.  “I only do one dog at a time, never rushing but treating the dog as if it were my own​.”  It is one of life’s true treasures to love what you do. I am lucky, blessed, and fortunate to love my work. Customer satisfaction and happy dogs!  That is what I strive for each and every day.

After locating to Newport she opened the Lil Pup Spa in 2022.  After 3 years at her 3rd Street location, she is blessed to fulfill a dream and expand to a new location at 306 S. Washington Ave.  Linnie is ecstatic that the new location is a great opportunity to best serve her client’s needs.  Every groom is a personal endeavor for this talented and passionate artist. 

Linnie ​Veilleux not only served in the U.S. Air Force as a firefighter but was a Special Education teacher’s assistant​ in Washington for 12 years.  Linnie started a successful mobile grooming business in 2008​ on the Olympic Peninsula in NW Washington until she relocated to Newport 3 years ago, where she decided to open a storefront grooming shop.  ​From the moment a dog is brought into the spa that is my primary focus. It is our goal to see happy dog parents and even happier pups when they leave.  Linnie says, “I provide a luxury one-on-one professional grooming experience for dogs.” ​  

Prices vary depending on size, type of grooming, and desired services.  Her reputation for the utmost care and attention to her client’s pups has brought her to the forefront, in a competitive industry, where she excels in providing comprehensive knowledge in helping the owners to best meet the grooming needs of their pets.
