Achievements

I'm fluent in both English and Bulgarian, intermediate in Spanish, and a beginner in German. 

In 2022, I won first place in the municipal round of the English Olympiad.

In 2020, I won third place in the National Translating Contest Transformacii for the translation of an English poem, and got an honorary mention for my translation of an English Short Story.

In 2021, I won third place in the National Translating Contest Transformacii for the translation of a Spanish poem.

I’ve won first place in the municipal round of the National Spanish Olympiad twice (years 2021 and 2022) and was also once admitted to the national round (in 2022). 

In 2020, I was approved for the national round of the English Olympiad, but I wasn't able to attend it. 

In 2021, I won second place in the national creative writing contest: Picta Scripta for a Spanish philosophical essay.

I spent the summer of 2019, translating documents and English books for pocket money.

In 2017, I won first place in an English Olympiad with the maximum score possible. I was also invited to join the next round of the Olympiad in Romania but unfortunately was not able to do so. 

In 2017, I attended a robotics competition.

In 2021, I completed a one-year course in Game Developing with Telerik Academy, where I studied the programming language JavaScript through the JS framework Phaser.js.

In 2022, I completed a one-year course in Web Programming with Telerik Academy, for the purpose of which we used Javascript, HTML, CSS and various libraries such as Bootstrap.

In 2020, I completed a course in Python Programming with Coursera.

In 2023, I finished a two year programming course, where we studied Javascript, C#, SQL, HTML, and CSS. 

In 2023, I graduated from an "ОУД" program at my school, and there I studied programming with Python and graphic design.

I won second place in the municipal round of the National Olympiad Information Technology (NOIT), category: Multimedia Applications for a game I made with my sister: Stihosbornik. 

In 2021, I won third place in the national IT competition Az Moga Tuk I Sega, category: presentations.

In 2022, I was one of the three winners in the National Informatics Competition with Khan Academy, hosted by the organization “Образование без раници”. 

Main programming languages: python, JavaScript, HTML & CSS (if those can be classified as programming languages), and C#. I'm also familiar with the JavaScript framework Phaser.js and the JavaScript library React.

In 2021, I won third place in the national Programming competition KITE Projects, category: OPEN for a video game I made with my sister: Bake-a-Cake using JS framework Phaser.js.

On the first of December, 2022, I won first place in a school-wide graphic design contest for a poster I made for HIV Awareness Day. 

In 2022, my debate team and I (consisting of three people in total) won third place in the regional fall Best Debates Speech Tournament, category: Debates. We were also invited to participate in the national Best Debates Speech  Tournament in Sofia.

In 2023, I was ranked in 10th place for best speaker in the national BEST Debates Speech Tournament.

In 2020, I was ranked third in the municipal round of the Philosophy Olympiad.

Between the years 2015-2017, I was enrolled in PACE at my school, an American program for the gifted youth.

2019-2020, I was a member of my school's student council.

For the entirety of my education, I've maintained an excellent grade average (the highest grade average possible).

Throughout my life, I've been a member of numerous clubs, such as the reading club at my local library and the Chinese language learning club at my school. 

In 2021 I participated in the Erasmus+ online program: Building Competitive Advantage Through Personal Branding: Lamia, Greece. 

In 2022 I spent a week in Nazilli, Turkey as part of an Erasmus+ mobility for Creativity: Creative and active education - Body, mind, spirit.

I've attended tennis lessons for two years until 2018.

In 2019, I spent a summer volunteering at a local library.

Until third grade, I participated in numerous math competitions and Olympiads, winning honorary places.  

I often attend cooking classes at VUM University.

I am in my school´s robotics team.

I am in a Book Club. 

I am in my school's English Debate club.

I am in my school's Civics Club. There, we discuss politics and the current state of Bulgaria.

I am also enrolled in the 3 year national program IT Kariera for Applied Programming with the goal of acquiring professional qualification in the IT field. As of now, I´m on year 2/3 of the program. Usually takes up around 8-9 hours a week and mainly focuses on the programming language C#.
