Otters

Otters are mammals. There are 13 species of otters found all over the world. An otter's den is called a couch or holt. Otters can't sink because they have special fur that helps float. Moms have babies in the water. They stay with the baby until the otter pup is 1 year old or she as another litter.

Otters stay close to each other by holding hands or holding seaweed that another otter is holding.
