If you want a modern, high-speed charging solution for your latest Beats earbuds like the Powerbeats Pro 2 or Studio Buds+, choose LILIBIN USB-C Beats Earbuds; if you need to revive older Beats headphones with proprietary micro-USB ports like the Solo 3 or Powerbeats 3, choose Podokas USB Charger Compatible. This is not a matter of which one is "better" in a vacuum, but rather a strict case of matching the right power brick to the specific port on your device. As a college student navigating a dorm room full of tangled wires and aging tech, I have seen too many people buy the wrong adapter because they didn't check their headphone generation. The LILIBIN option is built for the current wave of wireless audio with its USB-C standard, while the Podokas charger is a specialized tool designed exclusively for legacy models that rely on the older micro-USB interface.
• LILIBIN: Delivers rapid 18W fast charging via USB-C to save time between classes, but it is completely incompatible with any Beats model featuring a Lightning port or older micro-USB jack.
• Podokas: Provides a reliable 10W charge for vintage Beats gear with a durable aluminum alloy shell, yet it cannot function with any modern USB-C enabled earbuds or speakers.
• The Pick: Choose LILIBIN if you own 2024-era models like the Solo 4 or Fit Pro; choose Podokas only if you are holding onto older Powerbeats 3 or Studio 2/3 units.
This charger set is engineered specifically for the ecosystem of newer Beats products that utilize the universal USB-C standard. If you are carrying the Beats Powerbeats Pro 2, the new Solo 4, or the Studio Buds+, this 18W wall charger is the most efficient way to get your battery back up. The data sheets indicate a robust output capable of delivering 9V/2A, which translates to a charging speed that is three times faster than the old 5V/1A adapters. For a student who might only have ten minutes between lectures to top off their audio gear before hitting the library, that efficiency matters. The unit includes a 5-foot cable, giving you enough slack to plug into a wall outlet across the room without stretching the cord taut, a common annoyance in cramped dorm rooms.

The build quality emphasizes durability for daily travel. The manufacturer states the cable has undergone over 10,000 fold tests without damage, suggesting it can survive being tossed into a backpack alongside textbooks and laptops. The enclosure uses thick, environmentally friendly PVC, and the entire system is designed to prevent battery damage during these rapid charge cycles. However, there is a hard limitation you must respect: this product does not fit Micro-USB ports. If your Beats headphones use the older, trapezoidal connector shape, this charger will simply not work. It is also incompatible with the H1 chip versions of older headphones that utilize Lightning connectors. You must verify your device has a round USB-C port before purchasing.
This product is ideal for anyone who wants a single, high-performance block that handles the latest noise-canceling headphones and wireless speakers. It fits the needs of students who prioritize speed and reliability in their morning routine. If you own the Beats Pill 2024 or the Studio Pro (including the special edition), this is the correct choice. It is the go-to solution for users who need to ensure their modern audio gear stays powered up without waiting an hour for a slow charge.
The Podokas charger occupies a very different niche in the market. It is not designed for the future; it is designed to keep the past running. This unit targets the massive installed base of older Beats by Dr. Dre headphones that rely on a proprietary micro-USB charging interface. Models like the Beats Solo 3 Wireless, Powerbeats 3, and even certain generations of the Beats Studio series fall squarely into this category. The charger features a built-in safety chip intended to protect the battery from loss and aging, which is crucial for older devices whose batteries may already be showing signs of wear. With a 10W output (5V/2A), it offers a charging speed twice that of ordinary cables, ensuring that even older hardware gets a decent boost quickly.
What stands out about the Podokas design is the attention to physical compatibility. The description notes that generic standard micro-USB cables often fail to fit securely into Beats' proprietary ports. This charger uses a custom-molded tip that matches the original Beats cable geometry perfectly, preventing the loose connection issues that plague cheap third-party replacements. The construction includes an aluminum alloy shell and flame-retardant PVC material, offering a sense of ruggedness that complements the aesthetic of older, more industrial-looking headphones. It is a straightforward, no-frills wall mount that plugs directly into North American outlets.
However, the trade-off here is severe specificity. This charger will not work with any Beats model released after the transition to H1 chips and Lightning ports. It explicitly lists incompatibility with the Beats Solo Pro, Powerbeats Pro, and the newer Studio Buds series. Furthermore, the Beats Studio 1 is also listed as incompatible due to its unique non-micro-USB port. You must physically inspect your charging port to confirm it is the specific micro-USB type used by Dr. Dre's older line. If you are a student still using a pair of Powerbeats 3 handed down from a sibling or bought second-hand, this is likely your only viable third-party charging option. It is a specialist tool for a specific problem, not a general-purpose charger.

I would buy the LILIBIN USB-C Beats Earbuds if I were outfitting a new college student today. The shift toward USB-C is permanent, and having a charger that delivers 18W ensures that their music doesn't cut out mid-lecture due to a dying battery. The 5-foot cable is a practical necessity for shared living spaces, and the compatibility with the newest Beats lineup means this purchase won't become obsolete in a year. However, if I found myself holding an old pair of Powerbeats 3 that my roommate refused to upgrade, I would reach for the Podokas USB Charger Compatible. It is the only bridge that keeps those older devices alive. Ultimately, the decision rests entirely on the port your headphones possess, not on brand loyalty or marketing hype.
No, the Podokas charger is not compatible with the Studio Buds series. Those models use a USB-C port, whereas the Podokas unit is designed strictly for older micro-USB Beats headphones. You would need the LILIBIN charger for those devices.
Yes, the LILIBIN USB-C charger is explicitly listed as compatible with the Beats Flex, along with other USB-C enabled models like the Solo 4 and Fit Pro. It provides the 18W fast charging required for these devices.
Beats used a proprietary version of the micro-USB connector for years. Standard cables often feel loose or don't connect at all. The Podokas charger uses a specially molded tip to match the original Beats port geometry, ensuring a secure connection that generic cables cannot provide.
No, this charger is designed specifically for Beats headphones and speakers with a micro-USB charging port. It is not compatible with Apple devices that use Lightning or USB-C charging ports.
