Scouting Corner

The Long Island Greenbelt Trail Conference's Scouting Committee, in conjunction with the Onteora Alumni Association's Red Trail Wanderers, offers scheduled conservation, trail improvement and service projects along with 5 and 10 mile hikes. All committee members are registered Boy Scouts with adult leader training. Several members are Hiking, Nature and Back Packing merit badge counselors. Our activities take place in Nassau and Suffolk counties (Long Island, NY) and at Onteora Scout Reservation in Livingston Manor, NY.
