Fruit of the Spirit Summer Sermon Series - This summer we’ll begin journeying through the Fruit of the Spirit from Galatians 5:22-23. Each week we’ll focus on one of the Spirit’s gifts growing within us: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. These are more than character traits we try harder to achieve; they are the work of the Holy Spirit shaping us into the likeness of Christ flowing naturally from our relationship with Christ. Join us! And be sure to pick up a bookmark to help you memorize the Scripture.

Portland Pride Parade - All are invited to walk with the Thornton Heights UMC in the Portland Pride Parade on Saturday, June 20. We will have sign making at 9am at THUMC, then meet at 11am near Monument Park for the start of the parade at 11:30am. FMI contact Pastor Gwyneth. 

Bassoon Recital at Peoples - You are invited to a recital on Thursday, June 25 at 7pm held at Peoples UMC with 8 bassoonists including our own Pastor Gwyneth. Church and community members are more than welcome to attend. The group is called the “Maine Razzle Dazzle Bassoonery!”
