Rosanna Mastria, obtained her PhD in ‘Bio-molecular Nanotechnologies’ from the Universtità del Salento, Dipartimento di Matematica e Fisica 'Ennio de Giorgi' in 2016 working on the synthesis of hybrid materials and their integration in photovoltaic devices. As a postdoc in 2016 she joined the Institute of Nanotechnology of CNR (CNR-NANOTEC) working on the synthesis of colloidal 2D transition metal dichalcogenides and their integration into optoelectronic devices. In 2020, she joined the University of Exeter (UK) working on the development of ultrafast photodetectors based on 2D materials for optical wireless communication technologies. Since 2022, she is in Lecce at CNR-NANOTEC as permanent research staff working on 2D materials (including hybrid perovskite and other emerging inorganic materials) for optoelectronic and photonic applications. Her expertise span across the fields of nano-chemistry, material science, physics and engineering. Her specific skills include synthesis and characterization of nanomaterials as well as fabrication and photoelectrical characterization of optoelectronic devices (solar cells and photodetectors).
