Lifyn AI uses Google Firebase services for account authentication and cloud-based application data storage and synchronization.

Lifyn AI uses user-specific access controls and Firestore security rules intended to prevent one authenticated user from accessing another user's private account data.

7. Local Storage
Lifyn AI may store certain information locally on your Android device to provide offline functionality, improve performance, maintain application state, and support synchronization.

Local data may remain on the device until you clear the application's data, uninstall the application, or the application removes it as part of its normal data-management processes.
Clearing app data from Android device settings is different from deleting your Lifyn AI account from our cloud systems.

14. Data Retention
We retain account and application information for as long as necessary to provide Lifyn AI functionality, maintain your account, support synchronization, maintain application security, resolve disputes, and comply with applicable legal obligations.
Information stored locally on your device may remain until it is removed by the application, you clear the application data, or you uninstall the application.
When you successfully delete your Lifyn AI account, associated account data is intended to be deleted from the systems used by Lifyn AI, subject to any information that must legally or legitimately be retained.

15. Account and Personal Data Deletion
Lifyn AI provides an in-app “Delete Account & All Data” option.
When a user successfully confirms account deletion, Lifyn AI's deletion process is designed to:
1. Delete the user's Firebase Authentication account.
2. Delete the user's user-specific Firestore data.
3. Delete applicable Firestore subcollections associated with the account.
4. Delete applicable user-specific local Room database records.
5. Clear applicable local application preferences and cached information.
6. Clear applicable in-memory user state.
7. Sign the user out after successful deletion.
The deletion process is intended to cover data associated with the user's Lifyn AI account rather than merely disabling or freezing the account.
In certain circumstances, Firebase may require the user to authenticate again before an account can be deleted for security reasons.
Certain information may be retained where necessary for legal compliance, fraud prevention, security, or other legitimate purposes permitted by applicable law. Any such retention will be limited to what is reasonably necessary.
Google Play also requires apps that provide account creation to provide an external web resource through which users can request account and associated-data deletion. Lifyn AI will provide such an external deletion resource and maintain the corresponding Play Console declaration.
