LiftIQ Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how CoachIQ ("the App") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our service.
1. Information We Collect
The App's primary function involves analyzing WhatsApp chat data that you, the user, explicitly export from your WhatsApp application and provide to CoachIQ. In addition to this, we also collect certain information automatically through the use of third-party SDKs.
WhatsApp Chat Data: We collect the chat data you choose to export from WhatsApp and submit to the App for analysis. This data contains the content of your conversation. We do not access your WhatsApp account directly or collect any data from your device without your explicit action of exporting and sharing the chat file with the App.
Usage and Device Data: Through third-party SDKs (Firebase, Adjust, Meta SDKs), we may collect information about how you interact with the App, such as the features you use, the duration of your sessions, and events within the App. We may also collect information about your device, such as device model, operating system, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information. This data is generally collected in an aggregated and anonymized form, but may include identifiers.
Transaction Data (via RevenueCat): If the App includes any in-app purchases or subscriptions, RevenueCat may collect information related to your transactions, such as the type of subscription, duration, and a subscriber identifier. This does not typically include your full payment card details, which are handled by the app store (Google Play Store or Apple App Store).
No Personal Identification Information: The App does not require you to register or log in with traditional personal identifiers like name or email address for the core analysis function. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any other directly identifying personal information, except for identifiers collected by the third-party SDKs as described above, which are typically used for analytics and attribution rather than direct personal identification within the App.
2. How We Use Your Information
The information we collect is used for the following purposes:
Analysis via ChatGPT: The exported WhatsApp chat data you provide is sent to the ChatGPT API for analysis as per your request.
Providing Statistics and Analysis: The results of the analysis performed by ChatGPT are processed by the App to generate statistics, insights, and analysis which are then presented back to you within the App.
Analytics and Improvement: We use data collected via Firebase, Adjust, and Meta SDKs to understand user behavior, analyze trends, improve the App's functionality and performance, and identify and fix issues.
Attribution: Adjust and Meta SDKs may be used to understand which marketing campaigns led you to install and use the App.
Subscription Management (via RevenueCat): RevenueCat is used to manage in-app purchases and subscriptions, track subscription status, and unlock premium features if applicable.
3. How Information Is Shared
ChatGPT API: The WhatsApp chat data you provide is shared with the ChatGPT API for the purpose of analysis. Please refer to OpenAI's Privacy Policy https://openai.com/policies/row-privacy-policy/ for information on how OpenAI handles data.
Third-Party Service Providers: We share information with third-party service providers that help us operate, analyze, and improve the App. These include:

Adjust: For mobile attribution and analytics. (Please refer to Adjust's Privacy Policy)

Aggregated or Anonymized Data: We may share aggregated or anonymized data that does not directly identify you with third parties for various purposes, such as analytics, research, or marketing.
Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g., a court order or a government agency's request).
Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
4. Data Retention and Security
WhatsApp Chat Data: The WhatsApp chat data you provide is processed temporarily to perform the analysis. We do not store your raw WhatsApp chat data on our servers after the analysis is complete and the results are delivered to you.
SDK Data Retention: Data collected by third-party SDKs is retained according to their respective privacy policies.
Security Measures: We take reasonable measures to protect the information collected through the App and shared with third-party services. However, please be aware that no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.
5. Your Choices and Rights
WhatsApp Chat Data: You control which WhatsApp chat data you choose to export and share with the App. You can choose not to provide this data or limit the data you export.
SDK Data Collection: You may be able to limit the data collected by some third-party SDKs through your device's privacy settings or the SDK providers' own opt-out mechanisms. Please consult the privacy policies of Firebase, Adjust, and Meta for more information on their data collection practices and your options.
No User Accounts: As the App does not require user registration or collect persistent identifying information for the core function, traditional user rights related to accessing, modifying, or deleting personal data linked to an account are not applicable.
6. Children's Privacy
The App is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you become aware that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
7. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy within the App or on our website (if applicable). You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
