My name is Payton Altiser and I am a Labor and Delivery Nurse, Doula, Childbirth Educator, Birth Nerd, HypnoBirthing Educator, and Mom to one. I have always had a passion for serving women through pregnancy. After having my own child, I felt called in a different way. That is what led me to create Lifted Spirits Photography & Birth Work.
Who is Lifted Spirits Photography & Birth Work? My name is Payton Altiser, I am a Labor and Delivery Nurse, a birth nerd, childbirth educator, doula, Hypnobirthing Educator, and a mom myself!
What is Lifted Spirits Photography & Birth Work? I have a lot of dreams and ways I wish I could change pregnancy and postpartum care for women. For now, I am a doula, I offer birth, newborn, family, fresh 48, and maternity photography, and would love to serve women however I can to make their pregnancy, birth, and postpartum experience as positive as possible.
How did Lifted Spirits Birth Work become a thing? I have always had a passion for women’s health and Labor/ Delivery/ Postpartum specifically. Following the birth of my son, I feel a strong calling to serving women in a different way. I have discovered a strong desire to serve women who desire to intuitively and physiologically birth their baby. I feel that all women need strong support during labor, birth, and postpartum and I hope to be that support for my clients.
Why the name Lifted Spirits Photography & Birth Work? I wanted to find a way to associate Hot Air Balloons and Birth Work together, thus came Lifted Spirits. My love for Hot Air Balloons began when I was a young girl and would watch Hot Air Balloons and eat ice cream with my dad. I then went on, years later, to get engaged in a Hot Air Balloon. Lastly, I used a Hot Air Balloon Stress Release Script when I was pregnant and laboring. For me Hot Air Balloons are a symbol of love, peace, and happiness. All things I hope to exemplify while serving women.
