Life OS: Your Data, Your Control Life OS prioritizes local storage for sensitive data while using limited analytics for app improvement. Your personal vault remains fully private.
1. Local Storage Policy Sensitive data—including passwords, notes, health metrics, budgets, and memorable days—is stored exclusively on your device using encrypted local databases (Hive).
No Server Access: We have no server access to your vault.
Local Control: No data is uploaded to any cloud server without your explicit export action (e.g., generating a PDF/CSV).
Separation: Analytics data is entirely separate from your personal vault contents.
2. Data Retention and Deletion (Crucial for Policy Compliance) We believe you should have absolute control over your data.
Data Retention: Because your data is stored locally, it is retained on your device for as long as the application is installed. We do not maintain any copies of your personal vault data on our servers.
How to Delete Your Data:
Manual Deletion: You can delete individual entries (notes, passwords, etc.) at any time within the app.
Full Reset: You can clear all app data via your Android Device Settings (Settings > Apps > Life OS > Storage > Clear Data).
Uninstallation: Uninstalling the Life OS app will permanently delete all locally stored data from your device.
Feedback/Complaints Data: If you have submitted feedback or a complaint via our contact forms (Firebase/Firestore), you can request the deletion of that specific communication by emailing us at lifeosinc@gmail.com. We will process such requests within 30 days.
3. Information We Do Not Collect
No Account Creation: Life OS does not require or offer an account creation process.
No PII: We do not collect names, phone numbers, or email addresses during regular app usage.
Local Logic: Game high scores and skill logs remain strictly on your device.
4. Google Analytics and Firebase We use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand app performance:
Purpose: Crash reporting and usage patterns (e.g., which features are most used).
Data Collected: Anonymized App Instance IDs, device model, and crash logs.
User Feedback: When you voluntarily submit a complaint or feedback, the message is stored in Firebase/Firestore solely to help us resolve your issue.
