My annual fortnight holiday is my retreat to write stuff for relaxation, but I had but a day to do the photos conveniently. One of those sunny now, but not in two minutes British summer days. Forgive the range of light conditions in the photos that follow.
As mentioned a bolt here or component there will change*, but nothing significant. Maybe the tyres too.
I like the tan-wall look (your mileage may vary) but the pictured Schwalbe One TLE tubeless were already on my wheels and I'm not overly impressed. The Schwalbe Pro One TLE I have run before seem to roll effortlessly at various pressures, but the [non-Pro] One TLEs don't. I don't know if it's the added puncture protection, the non 'Race' Addix compound or the extremely low carcass thread count of 67tpi that makes for a dead, dragging and unlively ride. I don't care. Despite the Pro Ones ability to puncture whilst merely being in sight of something sharp, they rolled and they floated. So did my previous Hutchinsons and they could reject the odd puncture too. Heck! Even Conti GP 4 Seasons rolled better with tubes and you could ride over medical sharps on those bad boys! I may yet relinquish my tan-wall fascination and get sensible.
My point is the pictures that follow are pretty much the finished object, save for an angle tweak here and a position adjustment there.
I hope you enjoy:
*Well, it took about two weeks to make that statement a lie. Page V will contain all of the future upgrades that I'm done with denying will happen!
