Poritubera or commonly known as (Sea) Sponges is Major tube-like animals that are basal group on phylogeny of Dominozoa. Poritubers are aquatic, simple, sessil (non-mobile), filter-feeding & very important in aquatic ecosystem, especially they build reefs among with Anthocoralia (corals) and algae. All sponges lacks Muscle, Nervous system, Gastrointestinal tract, Excretory system, they have porous body structure, different roles on each cells, phagocytosis, obtain oxygen, & remove waste, through choanocytes on their body. Sponges usually has their hole structures called, osculum, which they difuse waste into water & pump water. Most of them were asymmertical, some of them were symmertical.
