What Is Pikmin Series?

《Pikmin》 is a real-time strategy (RTS), puzzle and speculative biology video game franchise created by 宮本 茂 (Shigeru Miyamoto), who is a same creator of《Super Mario》and《Legends of Zelda》, published/owned by 任天堂 (Nintendo). Pikmin series mainly focus on using a humanoid plant-like organism, Pikmins to do some various tasks such as destroying obstacle (example: dirt wall), avoiding harmful hazards (example: fire, water, electricity), and fighting with dangerous wildlife, which are mostly animals (metazoa) and some of them were mobile plants (ambuloradicis) and mobile fungi (ambulofungus).

This game series has 4 main game series, 2 spin-offs and various other media (unofficially including references on non-pikmin media and fan media).
