Prosperimycota (or Fungi) is a major dominant prosperikayote group on [PNF-404] among with animals and plants and usually heterotrophic decomposers.
These organisms has shared characteristics with other organism groups such as cells contains biomembrane nuclei with introns & exons contained chromosomes, heterotrophy, bioluminescence and others. However these organisms has their own unique characteristics such as Hypha (unique filamentous branching cellular structure) that mostly use for growth and usually mass branched (called Mycelium) and has unique structure, Spitzenkörper unlike other organisms with hypha. Also their cell wall is chitin-glucan complex based.
The reproduction of Prosperimycota (fungus) are complex and depends on each groups, both asexual and sexual reproduction exist, usually through on sporogeneis process. On sexual reproductional groups, they do mate each other or their self and has meiosis process like animals and plants but very different mating method such as homothallic & heterothallic. Some fungus do very different reproduction method without meiosis, via Parasexuality (not confuse with a ace-spec identity Parasexual), a unique genetic transfer nonsexual mechanism through anastomosis and cell (such as nuclei) fusion.
The first prosperimycota (fungus) appeared on 700 million years ago among with their parent group, however based on molecular data, some suggest that prosperimycota (fungus) firstly appeared much older records such as Prepræterian.
