Sujalam RTH is a cost- effective and economical solution for the rural population, or people living in slum areas to maintain their health and hygiene.
Sujalam RTH is a filter within an earthen pot. It filters and cleanses all the water that is poured into it almost instantly and provides safe, hygienic drinking water to people. Being within an earthen pot, the water remains cool, eliminating the need for external methods of cooling.
Sujalam RTH is available for a nominal cost of Rs. 250, and easy to use and clean.
The product functions without the use of electricity, making it accessible to rural population.
INSTRUCTIONS/PRECAUTIONS IN USE:
How to use?
Step 1- Place the earthen pot on flat, stable ground, with one side unblocked to allow the passage of water through tap.
Step 2- Pour water into the earthen pot.
Step 3- Wait for five minutes.
Step 4- Turn the tap upwards and place a container below it. Pure water will fall into the container, safe and hygienic for drinking or any other purpose.
Precautions-
1. DO NOT place the pot on a surface that is covered from all sides as this will prevent the tap from having enough space to function properly.
2. DO NOT place the pot on an uneven surface as it might cause it to fall or break.
3. DO NOT take water from the filter immediately after pouring it in. the filter requires enough time to function.
4. DO NOT turn the tap downwards as it might result in the breaking of the tap, and subsequently the filter.
5. DO NOT turn the tap and start the flow of water if there is no container below. This will result in wastage of water, which should be prevented.
Service-
A servicing of the product every three months is highly recommended by the team to ensure that the filter is functioning properly and is still efficient enough to filter water.
The first two services will be given for free to the customers every three months after the product has been bought, while the consequent services will be available for a nominal rate of Rs 100.
