In this workshop, participants will discover how traditional Indigenous knowledge and modern chemistry come together through the art of making paint. Using natural plants and materials, youth will create their own pigments—learning the chemistry behind color while connecting with the land in a meaningful way. Each participant will then choose an animal that represents one of the Seven Sacred Teachings: Love, Respect, Courage, Honesty, Wisdom, Humility, and Truth and bring it to life through painting.
