Reflection: I created this poster for Licht Park to persuade people to come to the park and workout. Of course there are other activities, but the park has lots of workout areas. My first picture shows a pull up bar, which people can use it to build muscle. For example, a pull up bar is a calisthenics workout that builds your back muscle. Licht Park is one of the few parks, if not the only park in Warren that provides these types of Equipements for people who want to stay fit and have a free workout.
When I used to walk from school and pass through this park, I usually run around the trail three times because it equals a mile once you finish. (Shown in my second Picture.) It's a great area to keep your heart healthy and pumping fast!
The audience for my poster is people of any age. (Visitors to the park or new people who love working out.) In the poster, my writing portion, I tried to be energetic by adding exclamation point and hyping people up. I'm trying to be welcoming and persuade people to come to the park. You can come alone and still enjoy having a great workout, maybe even meeting other people that can be your workout partner.
My poster is about working out because I LOVE working out. Coincidentally, I actually met one of my best friends at this park while biking there.
The main purpose / idea of this was to persuade more people who loved working out to come to this area and of course work out. It'll be great meeting people who love the same hobby as you and even if it isn't to make friends, this poster can persuade people to start working out and becoming healthy. Sometimes gym member ships are too expensive, or you can't afford it, that's why this poster can convince people to come for FREE. I welcome people to come to Licht Park as it shown in my title, "Come Work Out at Licht Park!!".
The tone of this whole thing is supposed to be friendly and exciting. The slang I used is to be fun because who wouldn't want a free, fun, workout.
Ethos, Pathos, and Logos are all important to posters whether you are persuading or informing them. You can have all in one too. I did provide a little bit of information by telling them whats there for them (Logos), but the main thing i used was ethos. I wanted to sound very welcoming as it's best to show that you are being friendly.
