Artist Statement

I have always seen escapism as important. Our world has slowly been breaking all of us, but just for a little bit anyone can just forget about everything, recharge and experience something new. Through the mediums of ink and digital I aim to do just that, escape.

Worldbuilding is a passion of mine that allows me to break free from the confines of our everyday world. With my pen, I am the master of my own fate, unbound by the norms and limitations of society. Through my creations, like a villain tearing apart their enemies or a hero igniting a flame, I am able to experience a range of emotions and explore the complexities of human nature. For me, the act of leaving my own world and entering into these imaginative spaces is crucial to maintaining good mental health. My art process provides a space for me to leave negative emotions behind, create something new and achieve a sense of purpose.
