About Me

Biography

I am currently a PhD candidate at University of Wisconsin-Madison, majoring in Agricultural and Applied Economics. So far, I have been working in this field for more than ten years. Before coming to the U.S., I spent nearly seven years studying in Beijing, China. I started college in September 2010 and obtained my Bachelor's Degree in Agricultural Economics and Management at Renmin University of China in June 2014. Then, I continued working on my undergraduate research project of rural-to-urban migration and household farm production in China for three more years at the same institution. In June 2017, I received my Master's Degree in the same major, Agricultural Economics and Management. During my three-year postgraduate studies at Renmin, I was honored to be granted the opportunity to study as an exchange student at SciencePo in Paris, France in the spring semester of 2016.

During my spare time, I enjoy playing Chinese Chess (Xiangqi), watching soccer games, cooking and traveling. I have left my footprint in more than 15 countries so far and expect to explore more places of the world in the future.
