Motivation

The license plate recognition and display should be funded because it will help save lives due to speeding traffic accidents. This project will benefit all lives whether you are a pedestrian walking the street, or another car. Building this license plate recognition and display we are helping police because they can’t be everywhere all at once, so having this up can help patrol speeding in places that they cannot be. Speeding will never fully go away, but with our project we have the chance to make a change. Getting people to reduce their speed and be more aware has the chance to save people in their communities over time. Being a resident in this community, I have seen many accidents due to people speeding. My goal is to help people from seeing that happen as often as I have.
