Laser Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy (LIBS) and Raman spectroscopy are indispensable tools for planetary surface analysis. The scientific data obtained through Curiosity, Perseverance, Zhurong rover deployed on Mars and Pragyan rover onboard Chandrayan 3 mission of India have opened a new era of planetary science. The workshop will unite theory, experiment, and instrumentation experts to share advances, address challenges, and define LIBS/Raman's future role in planetary material characterization.
