Library Rules & Regulation

GENERAL RULES:

1. Every Student entering the Library Premises should have a valid college identity card. It should be produced as and when demanded.

2. Identity cards are non-transferable.

3. Students must handle books, periodicals, etc. with great care, any attempt to damage books or Periodicals, by defacing or tearing the pages will treated as serious misconduct and strictly dealt with.

4. If the Original identity card is lost a duplicate will be issued on payment of Rs.150/- each.

5. A complete silence and strict discipline should be maintained in the library and Reading hall.

6. All kinds of personal belongings except notebook are supposed to be kept in the property counter at the entrance.

HOME ISSUE:

1. Students may borrow one book for one week.

2. In case of late return of books students will have to pay a fine of Rs.2/- per book.

3. While charging the fine holidays will be counted.

4. Re-issue of the books will depend upon the demand for the same.

5. Reference material for in-house reading is not allowed to be taken outside.

6. Loss of book must be reported immediately to avoid accumulation of late fees.

7. In case of book lost/stolen, the user will have to replace the book or actual cost of the book+ 50% replacement charges will be levied.

Any disregard of these rules will be reported to the Principal for appropriate action.
