You'd be hard pressed to find two things that kids love more than telling their own stories, and playing Minecraft. Sean Fay-Wolfe, author of the acclaimed Elementia Chronicles series of Minecraft action adventure novels, brings these two concepts together to get kids excited about writing.Sean tells the story of his journey writing the first book of the Elementia Chronicles, walking kids through the entire writing process, from coming up with an idea, to building character traits, to sending your completed story out into the world.Sean also asks kids to think of their favorite hobbies, and helps them come up with ideas to turn their favorite activities into interesting, engaging stories.

I was excited to connect students with this author who writes fictional books based on Minecraft. I am hoping this will encourage those who enjoy Minecraft to try his fiction books as well as connect budding young writers to a published author!
