FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Libertarian Party of Polk County Members Meeting
Fresh after the Libertarian Party of Wisconsin (LPWI) Annual Members convention two weeks ago, the local affiliate, the LP of Polk County Members (LPPCM), will hold its regular monthly meeting Tuesday, May 13th, at 6:30 PM, at the Village Pizzeria in Dresser, WI.
The affiliate will have a briefing on the status of the state LPWI under its newly elected leadership, and it will discuss the future development, growth, and organization of local chapters in the areas within and surrounding Polk County.
Formed in 2021, the LPPCM remains open to paid members-in-good-standing of the LPWI from anywhere in Wisconsin who wish to officially join. It also invites all members of the general public, the media, and government officials to come, participate, and learn, or share, about the path to personal freedom, self-accountability and individual responsibility.
The Libertarian Party of Wisconsin believes in the following: The principles of “do not harm anyone, and do not steal from anybody;” the workings of a free and fair open market in economics; the right of individuals to defend themselves and their families; a limited and responsible government of restraint and due process based on the concept of consent without force or coerced theft; and in the need for nuclear disarmament and the end of militarism as a foreign policy.
