Concert choir is a non-audition choir open to all students regardless of experience or background. All students learn the basics of vocal production, basic music theory, different styles of choral music, perform at concerts throughout the year, and participated in the CMEA adjudicated Choral festival.
A Cappella Choir is an auditioned choir for intermediate and advanced students. Students development of vocal technique is enhanced through prior knowledge and skill is expected. Performances include all home concerts, festival competitions, CMEA adjudicated festival, and concert tours.
Chamber Singers is an auditioned choir for advanced singers. There is a strong commitment from all members as this group frequently performs at concerts, local community performances, many school events, CMEA Choral Festival, additional competitions and invitationals, and concert tours.
Vocal Jazz Ensemble is an auditioned group comprised of up to 16 members within Chamber Singers. With a strong commitment from all members, a lot of independent practice of vocal jazz studies is required. This group was formed in 2021 and hopes to participate at jazz festivals and competitions in the near future.
